violation of the immigration law ( D10 visa )
Question
Hello.
I have a question and i would be glad if you could have an answer for it.
I did my bachelor and currently I’m doing my master’s degree in South Korea.
So my question is that last year i got a fine more than 400.000 won, because i started doing my part job before i get my working permission. But this is my last semester and i would like to know if i have any restriction or exemption to apply for D10 Visa or employment applications in the future.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Thank you,
Eliane
Answer
Hi
I’m sorry for the violation of the immigration law.
If you violate the Immigration Act or the General Act, of course, it will have a serious impact on the change or extension of your visa. In severe cases, you may be ordered to leave the country, so you should be very careful.
In addition, it is difficult to talk in a lump because penalties are applied differently for violations of the law for each visa.
In the case of D10 visa application, one violation of the law is -5 points.
Please refer to it and calculate your score carefully before proceeding.
Thank you.
